International Usability Testing

Once again, Jakob Nielsen comes to the rescue with an insightful, succinct paper on International Usability Testing. He talks about the levels of global concerns in web design.

One of his recommendations for testing is to "go to the foreign country yourself". Although this is the most direct, and perhaps the most reliable testing method, it can be done remotely.

As the internet brings us all a little closer into a world community, designing a website that anyone on the globe can access, and understand, is an important consideration that should definitely be considered.

Thanks, Mr. Nielsen.
